Other way to make your Minolta MS6000 Microfilm work if you have idea to throw it away….

My MS6000 has problem with C2 error code as a result of a bad sensor, I guess. But I am unable to find this sensor part to replace !  No way !
MS6000 Microfilm scanner  is  an obsolete machine. It is made for Library only and it is a vendor machine ! If it has problem , the best way is throw it away since you are unable to find its part (s).

Oki C9600/C9800:Fatal error code 133

My OKI C9600 printer has problem related to led head with error code 133. This error msg indicates Cyan led head is failed.
led head bar

There are some reasons that leading to this failure. One of them  might be caused by drum. If drum is dirty or  is overflown by toner.
So you may test C Led head to know if it is OK. How to test ?  Try changing with  another Led Head such as Y,K, M.
This is the way I did, and my printer is OK now.

MDI (Microsoft office Document Imaging) is a powerful application for multipage images scanning.
But it  works for XP only.
After XP is not longer supported by Microsoft,  Microsoft has an utility  application  called MDI to TIFF Converter to solve this problem.
However the supported operating Systems  for this utility are:
Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-Bit x86), Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 editions, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 3… But not WINDOWS 10 !!!Some questions are posted on NET  forums or some applications are advertised as  MDI-to-TIF converter ready to download for free , but be careful about the unexpected  consequence after you click download label !

I have  found a solution to solve this problem.
1. Select Microsoft Office Document Imaging menu.
2. Open the file of MDI format
Left column is page preview column. You can select any page to edit
3. select Page (on top of task bar) then Select ALL Pages (yellow Highlight)

  1. Save Pages As  a name  under TIF format. Remember TIF not MDI. Now you are able to open this multipages file with any graphic software supporting multipage images such as Infanview (free) even in windows 10.

One more thing is  funny: the multipage Image file in XP can be saved both under MDI or TIF, by using function Save As, but we are unable to open it in windows 7 or Windows  10. The process takes you to Microsoft store to purchase their product !
